• Local application of leaves & seeds reduces inflammation.
• Conjunctivitis – flower pulp is used.
Internal
• Heart diseases & vomiting associated with fever – syrup is used.
• In cholera – tablets of fruits of tamarind & Semecarpus anacardium + salt is used.
