Properties:    
Rasa          Tikta, Kashaya

Attributes / Karma:
Alleviates Pitta, Kapha.
Cures bleeding disorderes (Rakta pitta), Diarrhea, parasitic infestation (Krimi), skin disorderes.
Flowers – cure eye disorders & Diabetes.
                                                                                                                                               
Medicinal uses
External
Conjunctivitis – powdered seeds ground in sesame oil is applied locally.
Internal
Diabetes – decoction of the Panchanga is used.
Urinary calculi – powdered seeds are used.
